LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee is thrilled to introduce Southwest Gas Foundation as its newest community partner whose support and contribution will provide additional fuel for the Host Committee’s community engagement programs and initiatives leading up to Super Bowl LVIII and beyond. Southwest Gas Foundation joins the existing roster of Host Committee community partners – MSG Entertainment, PNC Bank and UFC Foundation – to drive positive, lasting impact across Southern Nevada.

Southwest Gas Foundation will support up to 50 local, diverse businesses by underwriting their certification costs, allowing them to be eligible to participate in Host Committee programs and positioning them to be more competitive as they pursue longer-term opportunities post-Super Bowl.

“We are grateful for the support of Southwest Gas Foundation, whose unwavering commitment to Southern Nevada will allow us to amplify our investment into the community,” said Tom Donohue, Chief Financial Officer of the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee. “The company’s dedication to the development of local businesses will help us foster a legacy where diverse businesses can thrive for years to come.”

“Southwest Gas remains committed to supporting our communities’ growth and development by pursuing solutions which help further the creation of equitable and diverse economic pathways and that support the quality of life for everyone in our communities,” said Justin Brown, President of Southwest Gas Corporation. “Strengthening our communities is more than a philanthropic commitment for Southwest Gas, it is part of our culture, and we look forward to doing our part for a sustainable and diverse future.”

In recognition of Southwest Gas Foundation’s support and commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee has awarded Southwest Gas, an official Host Committee helmet.
